Beef jerky on a Rec Tec

Has anyone smoked beef jerky on a rec tec. If so, I would love some pointers or suggestions.
Do i need racks? Do i Need to hang the beef?

I've done jerky on my RecTec Mini several times. I just set the jerky on the grates, and smoke at 180 until it is done.
