I was rummaging through Freezer and found some Beef Ribs I had saved from a Prime Rib and a package of Beef Ribs that I had lucked up and found at the store (These actually had meat on them) so I pulled them out and put the in the fridge for a couple of days the thaw out.

COOK DAY: I really didn't want to fire up my smoker for just a few Ribs and I had nothing else I could smoke with it, So Plan "B"
I fired up my grill, got it steady at 225, got me some Hickory chips and I was ready to go.
All the ribs (7) were pretty meaty and looked good. I gave them a good coating of Salt, Pepper & Garlic Powder and on the grill.
Dumped a hand full of Hickory Chips on the other end and like Magic in a few minuets that beautiful aroma was pouring out.
I let the go for about 4 hours, turning them every once in a while and adding more chips.
They were done at 4 hours, but I was waiting on my Wife to get home so I foiled them and in the oven on warm.

She made some good ole fried taters with onions and that was enough.

Ribs all done ( they look darker in the pic than they actually were)

Looks great Gary!! One of these days I’ll finally do some beef ribs. My local Amish butcher has short ribs on his board the last few months for $3.99 / lbs by the 30 lbs case.

Looks Great, Gary!!
Like.
I say that, because I know how hard it can be to take good Pics of some things, and Beef Ribs is one of them. Sometimes it seems no matter what you do they look much darker than they really are. I've even turned my flash on, which I rarely use, and it's still too dark!!
I'll guarantee those taste Awesome, along with those beautiful Fried Taters!!

Thanks Al, Don't have Beef Ribs very often, main reason you just can't find any with any meat on them.
