Never saw these before. The CSRs that I've seen and cooked have always been pork.

They were chuck boneless CSRs and looked like decent marbling.

Any collective experience here with them?

I plan to try them out next week after this business trip.
 
Funny you say that I was rummaging through my freezer today and found a package of these. Didn’t have time to get the smoker out but was doing a London broil and some shrimp on the grill and figured why the hell not.

Thawed them. Poked several times with a fork. Used unseasoned meat tenderizer, dales, Worcestershire, SPG. Let sit for 30 minutes then fired the grill up.

Man these things were awesome. Lot of fat and muscles but figured the meat tenderizer helped with that. Cut the fat off. Tasted like a filet mignon. Here’s a couple pics. I’ll def be buying these again when I can find them. Hopefully can throw some smoke to them next time!
