I turned 12 yo in 1964. Beatles were a huge part of my becoming aware of pop music. I did not realize how incredible they were, at the time.

They did have some great music. And I still like to listen to them.

I was a little too young when the Beatles first came to America, but I did enjoy their music throughout the 70s and beyond. I'm also pretty sure I saw them debut on the Ed Sullivan show. As it was my job to change the channel and adjust the volume on the television.

I do remember seeing the cover band Beatlemania in the early 80s. They sounded just like the original Beatles, and I couldn't believe how much they looked like them also.

The definition of " classic " is anything that endures over time.

Beatles are for sure, classic .
What was the movie that came out.."Maxwells Silver hammer"? I remember going to the theater to see it. Cant remember the plot (if it even had one). But the music was great!!

And then, along came these chaps, leaving another indelible mark on music.
