I bought some bb ribs from Sam's and I plan on cooking them later this week.  They come three to a pack.  I have a mastebuilt electric 30 smoker.  Because of the small space I will have to cut each rack in half so I'll have six half's.  My plan is to use the 2-2-1 method, but my question is...since the room in the smoker is small, should I move the ribs around in the first two hours or just leave them alone?  Any help is appreciated.

I have the same smoker and buy the same package from Sams.  I usually split them into thirds ( one third is a meal for me).  I use the top three shelves and have never had issues with having to rotate  them to different shelves.

You can always re-foil and throw in the oven if one of them does not finish right.

Thanks for the info.  I'll cut them in thirds smoke them, and then put what we don't eat in food saver bags for yummy ribs later.

I have a Master Forge propane and I always rotate the ribs at the foil stage, and then again after unfoil, not sure it does anything but yeah different rack heights have different temps so I try to give them all the same.
