I was in there a few weeks ago and I wouldn't touch those barrel with a 10' pole. The ones at my store looked like they had some sort of tar based driveway paint in them and the residue on the inside of the drum was about 1/4" thick. It would take a long time to burn all the crap out of that IMHO.
 
i didnt look at them too hard the other night.. but i remember that the inside was red but they didnt look used... i was debating on buying one.. and just hanging on to it until i got bored and wanted to build a UDS...
