So I didn't have to work my real job, or cook for a BBQ job, or even do yard work this weekend. So that meant I could lay around and be lazy and not do anything this weekend. But the beautiful thing about working BBQ is that even when I just want to cook for myself, I can always call it practice, and then it becomes "work". Meaning, I worked all day today.
And here are the results of all my hard work. Chicken thighs, split chicken breasts, ABTs, and a rack of ribs on the WSM. Everything turned out really great, the only self-criticism I had were that the ABTs could have used maybe 30 more minutes. I didn't try any of the breasts because they are for lunches this week, but the thighs were great. Ribs got a nice smoke to them, and had just the bite I was looking for.
All in all, it was an ABTsolutley barbecuetiful day.
