Hi everyone,
I'm thinking about going to Memphis next week for a day or two,and would like to know if anyone can recommend any good Barbecue restaurants?

I believe Calhoun's has a place there, or it's parent Copper Kettle perhaps. Back before I made my own I'd have their sauce shipped in cases to me. Purty good Q overall.

Interstate and Corky's are renowned....worldwide.

Edit: Rendezvous, I hear, is really good too; though I've never been.

Be Careful about Corky's

there are a lot of satellite Corky's in and around Memphis......The ONLY one you want is the original place which is on Poplar Avenue on the east side......It is also west of Collierville, TN which is a burb of Memphis........the original Corky's is a fun place

WILLINGHAMS---WINNER OF MEMPHIS IN MAY SEVERAL TIMES butt/brisket
THE RIB JOINT---RIB TIP SANDWICH WITH TATER SALAD

corky's and interstate are worthy also--but not my faves

lunch at corkys on popular street takes all the pure wood smoked ribs -by supper their selling their gas fire-hickory smoked

i have ate at each place several times
