Yeah i know. Its GA venison. Back home in PA the veny was darker redish.

Not sure yet, maybe AC 116.

The venison was shot by a friend here in GA and his daughter likes mild sticks. This 5 lbs is for her.  Got 2o lbs yet for other sticks and the other 25 is going sliced for jerky.

I did all the de-boning of his venison last season and it also was pretty light in color. Why i dont know. Guessing area.

Nepas....make sure you put it in the garage fridge vs house fridge so it does get thrown out (again).

Coastal veny

Not all GA venison is that light.  Must be a coastal thing.  The ones we get around here (middle to lower Piedmont area of GA) are darker reddish.

Found some tubed sheep casing to use for the venison sticks.

Had a few soaking and low and behold my wife calls and say dont get to involved with anything cuz when i get home we got some things to do 

Ok back in a salty bag with em then.

1/2 hp Cabelas. Used to grind 200 lbs a week and learned that a splat bag comes in handy in the house

Yes I do - There's really nothing around me. It's peaceful & I have plenty of privacy

I have a bunch of goose in the freezer as well but not sure what to do with it?  Any suggestions?  Have any good recipes?
