Sunny and 60 deg here in Virginia today so I fired up my little offset. Used my own rub of brown sugar paprika garlic granules onion powder chilli powder and dash of cayenne about 70% the other 30% was bad Byron's butt rub. Put the rub on 1st thing this morning and a few hours before putting them on the smoker I drizzled honey and melted butter on them and rubbed it in real good and added another light layer of rub. Put them on the pit around 4pm. Smoking with hickory and cherry wood. Will post more pics as the cook progresses.
