Wife wanted ribs yesterday, so ribs it is.

Rubbed down with homemade rub. I usually wrap in saran wrap and let them sit in the fridge but I was pressed for time.


Put them on the smoker. Smoker is running around 240 with some apple chunks for smoke. Spritzed them after about 2hrs in and every half hour after that with apple juice. I did not wrap them in foil.


After about 4 1/2 hours checked for tenderness. Forgot to take pic of bend test at smoker.



I did remember to get the bend test pic in the house though.



Here they are cut after a short rest.



Here they are on the plate with some homemade vinegar bbq sauce.



I would of got a pic with sides but we still didn't know what they were at this point..lol

Nice, got a rack on a new smoker right now. Hope they look just like that when they're done.
