Baby back keep drying out ?

Ah.... now I'm up to speed.....

babybacks will work very nicely for you.... Smoke them for 2-3 hours wrap them in double layer of foil, then in the cooler with towels. Got to the location.....get the charcoal hot for grilling, finish grill on the charcoal and glaze with sauce of choosing! If you only smoked for 2 then just grill a few mins more.

I use to do babybacks hot and fast on the grill all the time, ie babybacks are perfect for hot and fast. But the 2-3 hour smoke then finish will produce a very nice rib....I will note the it may be easier to 1/2 the racks when grilling but thats your choice. I would cut them in 4 rib sections the smoke then finish grill on sight.
Watch this video on how he does them. Looks pretty good, but id only get 1 rack on a 22in weber kettle?
Iv done ribs many years ago on a grill at 350 . Thay where ok but not great .
That was when I was first starting to grill . Iv been afraid to cut the rack up thought it would mess up the way thay cook

How did you do your ribs hot and fast about 300° or so?

My suggestion is to cook them nekkid and forget all the variables. Start cooking them early enough to finish them on time or cook them earlier and reheat.
This 100%. Uncomplicate it. And 300 is too hot for ribs IMO
Had no idea I'll have to try that how long would you let them go before checking it?
I reheat them wrapped in foil with 1/2 beer/water for about 30 min.

It definitely be 2-3 racks . Theres a oven there .

Was hopeful that I could make a somewhat tender rib in 2 or 3 hours but seems kinda hard . We have charcoal grills there . Never done babyback on charcoal. Might try the Heath Riles weber kettle trick . Looks good
You won't go wrong with HR recipe and he has many great how-to vids available.
He's not the world champion for nothing.
Whatever you do, pick a plan/method and stick with it. Take detailed notes so you'll know what adjustments to make next time.
It's really not that complicated.
