I really want to make an Argentine asado cross and cook a whole lamb over an open fire, so I thought I’d have a practice with a junior version. I’m brand new to welding so the welds aren’t great, but it was a lot of fun making it. I had an end cap from an air compressor tank going spare and some scrap angle and bar from an old sheep trailer that I dismantled a few years back So the whole thing cost me nothing and took maybe 4 hours to make. I christened it yesterday with a piecce of cider brined pork belly - it’s a really fun setup to cook on.
