Just got a 2 piece burner assembly and wanted to know what to use on the pipe threads. Teflon Tape? Pipe Dope? Seems like the burner head would get mighty hot and melt the teflon tape on the black pipe.

I used teflon tape on mine, been 2 years and no problem yet, 35,000 btu stove.
