As good as they claim?

Hey all,
I've been seeing this newer product on the shelves, and with the discount I get at where I work, I can get these for a good price,
But has anyone heard of a material called Richlite ?

Its supposed to be a knife safe product for cutting boards, and I am looking to get a smaller one for my small counterspace.

The material is a resin impregnated paper product, thermally fused and baked to hardness. It is food safe but not sure how bad it will beat up a knife edge.
I guess it would depend on the knife steel. I was shocked at the price
