That is one sweet setup you have there. I wanted to say something to you last week but we had the server meltdown. If you have a larger photo of that, send it my way if you get a chance. I take it you made it?

Pete, that is one awesome setup.Very professional looking. I have a couple of questions for you. First off, what is that black door used for next to the stack of wood? Second, from what I gathered in the photos, you use the fire pit to the right to generate the heat and smoke? Do you put some sort of lid on it when doing so? I would love to build something like that. Get back to me when you get a chance, no rush and again, great looking set up.

The black door is just a goodie box. Lighters paper towels etc. No I don't use a lid on the fire pit. The chimney has a strong draw that pulls the fire completely horizontal.

The draw is that strong? Wow. Bet thats nice to have that thing fired up and loaded with meat while having a bunch of friends over. Im sure your the envy of the neighborhood
