Just ran Italian and breakfast last week .
Most all sausage I make is one pass through the 1/4 " plate . My opinion is that it works fine .

I finally making my Cuban sausage this week and also breakfast sausage. No big deal to change plates but also curious what others say.
I dont grind my own. I get my pork supplier to make it for me. I just thought it would be a change to try it.

It will work for sure it's just a preference thing. Give it a try. I used preground a LONG time before buying a grinder.
