Anybody Use an AMNPS with their UDS or a Mini-WSM . . . ?

Anybody put a mailbox AMNPS smoke generator on their UDS?

I've got several toys but I'm now thinking about building a UDS ('cause the diet is keeping me from smoking-dammit!). I've got the AMNPS and thought it might be useful because of the variety of pellet flavors available. I'm pretty sure that it will put out more than enough smoke. I'm curious to know if anyone has done this and to see how they did it.


If so, I'd like to see pics.

I remembered seeing that thread but my search fu is lacking today. I couldn't find it.

I was curious to see - because I couldn't remember - how you had connected the smoke generator to the smoker. I had visions of 3" vent pipe and couldn't figure out how to make the hole and keep it air tight. The 3/4" pipe didn't occur to me because I didn't realize that it would carry sufficient volume.

Now, I'm thinking that I can do the same with the mini-WSM. Tamale steamers are cheap enough if I ruin the on I'm using.

One of these days I'm gonna have to take a road trip up 35W and meet you!
