Who else enjoys the creature? Nothing beats a glass of straight whiskey, neat. Did a little bourbon hunting this morning as well as pulled out some bottles from my backstock to realize "Shit, I'm out of room...gotta add more shelves." Now after setting everything up, I find that once again, I'm out of room.

Original shelves.

Looks like its back to Home Depot...

Very nice collection. I have drank most of those you have. I tend to keep two open bottles at a time til one is gone. Then open up a new one. Dont have as many as you in my stash but they are all unopened. I have around fifteen bottles. What you think of that chicken cock? I was pleasantly surprised. Love the bottle on that one too so I have it sitting on the shelf empty. My favorite in my collection is a couple bottles of Thomas Handy Sazerac rye from about ten years ago.

Chicken Cock was ok but nothing to write home about, but the one that really surprised me was Big Stick. Bought it on a whim with little to no expectations and it really over-performed.

Also a big fan of the Old Ezra Distillers Collection Barrel Pick I got at our local meat market. The owner is a huge bourbon fan and does their picks...never disappoints, but the Old Ezra one is probably my favorite bottle right now.

Now that is a collection! Man! Im on my way over right now.

Love Bourbon and Whiskey.

Love my bourbon/whiskey but I'm not a collector. Have a glass on ice each night as we watch TV before bed.
I do keep some Blantons and Willet stashed. My nightly changes regularly. I do prefer the higher proofs!

I appreciate a good pour but still not drinking very often due to current medications. I do still bottle hunt and grabbed a few just this week. Local Spec's has more Buffalo Trace than you can shake a stick at and for years that hasn't been the case. You had to hunt for it and when you could find it they'd go to the back room to get it. Had a few local shops trying to charge $60 for a $27 bottle. I'm just not doing that.

Broken Fence was a nice find. An associate at Specs recommended it and even said if I didn't like it he'd buy me a bottle on my next visit. A few weeks later when I saw him I just gave him a high five. I also got "ducked" while I was there :emoji_laughing: 🦆

I also like Evan Williams in the plastic bottles. Those are perfect for NASCAR races at TMS where you can't bring in glass.

That's a fine collection you got there Quigs.
