Oh man! Hope Ms Anne heals well. Not something you want to happen any time, but especially on a vacation.

Thanks. Changed the bandage this morning. All looks well. That was a strong argument on bringing a car with us. Between the ambulance. Then taxi. I'm thinking the bill is going to hurt.

Beautiful view there, Steve. It'd be real hard being that close to the water and not fishing, but I completely understand.
Sunday afternoon while she was putting one of the folding chairs under the RV. She tripped and landed on the chair face first. Ended the day with an ambulance drive to the ER in Watertown. 16 stiches later we got back to the RV at 1am using a taxi.
The gate was locked and I didn't have the key code with me. So, we ended up walking the rest of the way, about 1/8 mile with using my cell phone for light.
Well that sucks. I wish her well and a speedy recovery...

Thanks Charles. Ann is doing good. I took the bandage off this morning to let the wound air out. The nurse did a fantastic job with the stitches.

Ouch!!!! That hurt. Glad to hear Ann is OK, except for the stitches.
Beautiful camp spot.

Sorry about her mishap. What an ordeal to go through while on a nice trip. It may be raining, but with that view it is still pretty great!

And yes, you should have a boat.

Sorry to read about Ann's fall and stiches. Fast recovery fingers crossed.
Try to enjoy the rest of your trip.

Nice to be near the water , but now you are going to tow a car and a boat :emoji_laughing: :emoji_laughing:

That would be fun to see backing up.

Friend of ours when we were seasonal, showed up to his site with his fifth wheel towing a boat . He backed that up really slick.
got the boat right where he wanted , unhooked . Then he put the fifth wheel 30 footer right on his site one try for both. I would be there all day trying.
But to be fare, he does drive the double trailer logging trucks for a living.
