I have made several post over the last couple weeks with no response at all, even when asking questions direct. Anyone else experience this?
Lol well I see a response so that's working and I not disappointed, just shows me not to ask direct questions to certain members and expect a response. Thank youBetween your title and your post content. I'm not sure how to answer. Are you saying that you are having issues posting new threads? Or are you kind of disappointed that your not getting answers to your questions?
Chris
Agreed, just wasn't sure if something wasnt working on my end. Thank youMost members are more than happy to try to help but they may not see the thread. Sometimes you may need to send them a PM if they don't post in the thread. There are some that try to keep their recipes to themselves but most will share.
Agree with everyone here, and thank you for helping. Just to make sure everyone knows, this was not about coconut sausage lol. No notifications were being pushed through and have now found it was a Gmail problem. After update it is working again. Thanks again to everyoneWe get a lot of traffic here and stuff gets buried before many folks see it, I am 1 of the worst catch a minute skim the head lines and zoom off to do some thing else. Surprised I seen this thread lol
Thank you BearMy Defense:
I try to answer any question that I have an answer to.
However I don't make a lot of Sausage, and nobody at the Den even likes Coconut in Cakes or Candy, so there would be No Way any Coconut would get into My Sausage.
It might have helped if you bumped your own question, to give everybody another chance at seeing it & answering it. Next time, if it goes 10 or 12 hours without a comment, just make a comment like, "Any Help out there?" Might help.
Bear
Didn't know that, thanksWell there are "Latest Posts" and "Hot Threads" lists in the right sidebar. And if you click the "Home" button you get a longer list of "Latest Posts" to scroll through. I've noticed on busy days, posts can drop in position pretty quick, but I do like the fact that once I respond, I'll get a notification. Bear's tip about bumping your own thread is a good one.
Thank you for the information. I always enjoy learning new thingsOn the "Home" page up above where your name is there is a box with "New Posts" in it click on that yellow box and it will bring up all the posts that are new since you last clicked on the "Mark Forums Read" box on the page of "New Posts"
