After viewing SeenReds original & Dirtsailors version this was something I wanted to make, having all the ingredients on hand. I had some B/S thighs to use up so they went into the Ziplock with the marinade. My riff on the marinade was the addition of 2-3 ounces of Coconut Rum. I gotta say the marinade aroma was delish and the color beautiful. Gave the thighs an all day soak and used indirect heat, placing the thighs around the outside perimeter of the coals. There was plenty of marinade that stuck to the thighs so did no basting but flipped the thighs around as the color changed & char appeared. I used Dirtsailors posted ingredients of the juice of 2-3 limes, 2 jalapenos, 1/4 of an onion, garlic cloves, handful of cilantro, splash of evoo and some s&p. I whizzed all up in a food processor and added the coconut rum. Definitely a make again meal this summer and the heat level was fine for the GF so another 'winner-winner chicken dinner'

Nice, Willie!  Looks absolutely delicious!  I'm loving all the twists everyone's putting on this easy recipe.
