How's it going? My name is Rob and have been smoking for about 3-4 yrs. A retired US Navy guy with a hobby. I started on the large side with a Chargriller Trio with some mods (smoker basket, extended exhaust stack, heat baffles, and pneumatic tires on all 4 legs). Last year I added a Charbroil SRG. Not overly impressed with it for smoking purposes but the larger size than the Infrared cooker lets me do a bigger bird and has extra accessories for flexiblity. Recently added the Masterbuilt Pro 2-door smoker with the typical recommended mods (Hi-temp RTV, cast iron skillet with a cast iron grate to give some separation between fire and skillet....will be adding a bigger SS water pan as soon as I make a rack for it. Looking forward to using it when the weather improves. I will add pics when I know how. Thanks to everyone in supporting this forum.
