I was standing at the sink washing off my thermometer probe and all the sudden I feel this sharp pain in my thumb.
Didn't think much about it till I finished and took a look at it.
 
You sure thats your thumb.? That booboo looks real bad blown up 100X's. Yea soak it in cider. thanks for the prints lol
 
I dunno about the cider. Jeff's rub works well on everything else, why not try it here? Rub it, wrap it in saran wrap and refrigerate it overnite.
 
ummm, so what was the temp of the thumb?

If you are "ham-fisted" would it be appropriate to use some finishing sauce or would it be best to skip straight to the mustard sauce?
 
Think I'd skip the cider and soak it in some whiskey, then suck it clean and repeat several times, after awhile it shouldn't hurt so bad!

If whiskey is what works for you; drink the whiskey, then soak and rub it in cider.....
 
how many do get the cider method? as a woodworker I have had to many times,hehe
