Here is mine. It's an old Coldspot. I'm not done yet. Next step is installing insulation.

I was about to ask on your thread on TBH if you had been over here to ask about your insulation question. This site is the TBH of all things smoke!

Hey man! Nice to see a familiar name. No. Haven't asked yet. I figure on trying it the way I planned first, then asking for help if it doesn't work.

Looks like you've got a great start on your smoker so what are the details on the PID which model is it? I've been researching heat controllers for a few weeks now but am having trouble deciding whether to build one or do the plug n play thing. I also stripped down my freezer this weekend and am getting ready to insulate it this week just picked up some unfaced R-30 that I will have to split down to fit in the 3-1/2" space  it was a decent bargain at $15 from home repo but it looks like you will be smoking long before me. Keep at it, Great job.

I'll get back tto you on the PID. Its from Auber. It cost about half to assemble yourself as to buy one already done. Mine is plug and play too. I'll get model number and parts list after a while.

Finished plugging the last of the holes on the fridge and fabricated a new floor for the shell. Had to stop to feed the dog. Insulation is next...FINALLY!
