Where's the pics of that?
No pics, the wife was pretty mad! Smoke was pouring into my neighbors open window....she wasn't very happy either

I caught my little chief on fire once, luckily I was about 5 feet away when it happened. I used the wrong kind of fuel. I had scraps of apple wood (like shavings) and they weren't condensed enough, too much air space in the fuel. It was a bummer.

How did the fridge catch on fire? I would so heartbroken if the smoker I built died that way...

Didn't realize the old girl had a paper insulation and my temps got a little too high

Thanks, congrats on the Rec Tec. My son Big Train 74 bought one 2 years ago and absolutely loves it. Probably cooks on it 4 times a week...and customer service is 2nd to none
Thanks! I love mine so far. Cooked burgers, steak, ribs, pork loin, and even frozen pizzas with garlic bread on it. Haven't done any long smokes yet, but I will be doing pulled pork for Aug 8th.
