Nice day in NWI Didnt want to smoke up the house for a couple strips
Do you know what size screws you used to plug up the holes? I am thinking of doing this for mine, and I also have a Great Outdoors Smokey Mountain I need to do the same thing for. I'm wondering - are most of these burners the same in terms of the hole sizes? I am going to use mine for holding ovens at 150ºF - I can just keep my Camp Chef at that time, but once in a great while it blows out. The Smokey Mountain was blowing out every 5-10 minutes when I had it turned down that low - so I need to figure something out.Good idea!
I don’t think I can do that now. I’ve plugged half of the burner ports to allow smoking at a lower temp.
But I like the idea.

I GUESS plugging the holes allows some back pressure on the burner and allows you to keep the gas level turned up higher to keep it lit better? Any suggestions would be great, thanks.
