Wife bought me this Weber Summit in 2006 right after our son was born. I had a piece of junk crap propane grill at the time. This has been a work horse for me through the years. As much as I love my smokers I have, for a simple quick grilled steak or fish I love firing this up. After almost 20 years the only thing I ever had to do was clean a bit and this past week replace the the flavorizer bar bracket. Burner tubes are still in great shape. Not the prettiest and has some rust in spots but still going strong. Kudos to Weber for building a solid work horse!!!

Tonight’s dinner. Grilled Salmon and Zucchini! My wife’s favorite so plus for me, Hahaha!!

They are a dang good grill! We have one similar but I need to rebuild the base or legs... while it sits on our porch with a roof over it the thing must have gotten enough moisture to create some rust issues. But still cooks like a champ!

That's how I feel about my little Q1000. It's a first year model that has been to more NASCAR and concert tailgates than I care to count and for several years was my primary grill until last year. The only thing that's been replaced was the burner tube last year.

Yeah mine sits under our roof. I roll it out to use. It still gets some moisture though just from being outside in the humidity.

Looks well used. I bet I’ve had my genesis close to 15 years. All I’ve done to it is replace the grates with grill grates.

Never had a Q1000 but have seen a few in action with friends. Nice little grills for sure!

You need to show the love . Clean the old girl up .
Green magic followed by stainless steel conditioner .
I know I hear you! Life sometimes, Hahahaha!! Funny the back flavorizer bar bracket is in perfect condition only the front one rusted out and failed but I could only buy as a set. Maybe in 20 more years the back one will rust out and I will have it ready, Hahaha!!

I know I hear you! Life sometimes,
I get it . I keep everything out by the grills to keep them cleaned up . My 310 is 2016 , and the front control panel is SS . It gets the same way . I use a dry towel first , then go to the Green magic .
2006 Performer I got from my wife for a Father's day gift .
Trim came off the wheels , but still in great shape . I have the original
heavy duty cover for it too .
