Albertson has first brisket sale I seen in a long time. Most of them had smaller points and big flats so I opted for a trimmed point for $6. I just give most of it away to friends anyway.

Wow, nice! Was that with a digital coupon? Could you post the zip code? Maybe we can do the Kroger coupon trick.
Most of the Albertson's here turned into Safeways.

Kroger owns many other grocery chains. A while back, someone figured out that a digital coupon for a Kroger store in one area, will work for another Kroger-owned store in another. Kroger caught on after a while, and started making the coupons region specific. So it's much harder, but not impossible, to get that discount nationwide now. But we had some fun times while it lasted.

Thanks for the info.
Can you explain the procedure for the coupon copy thing you're talking about? If there is even a slim chance it may work, I'm in.

If you can find a good digital coupon in a certain zip code, enter the zip into the store locator on the Kroger App. Then go to a store in that zip, download the coupon, and it should appear in your account for your local Kroger affiliated store. If it doesn't work at checkout, just be nice about it. I have shown it to the clerk or supervisor, and they will sometimes override the checkout and give you the discount anyway. But it has to be in your "clipped" coupons file.

It's been forever since I bought a brisket. Absolutely ridiculous pricing in my area.

Thank you very much for explaining this. I appreciate it.
