Well this has nothing to do with smoking meat but several of the folks here asked me to share with you some of my photos from my recent trip to Alaska.

Majestic, breathtaking, awesome; these words don't even come close.

I've never felt so much a part of this world and at the very same time so insignificant. You realize, after spending just a short time here, we are all a part of a much greater whole.

I hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as I enjoyed sharing them with you.

Ron,

I know what you mean about words not coming close. My wife and I took an Alaskan cruise a few years back and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

We took thousands of pictures (no exaggeration) because at every turn was another of natures wonders. Thanks to whoever invented the digital camera.

Thanks all for the kinds words. Yes it was a cruise trip and no we didn't get to Denali or inland. We visited Sitka, Juneau, Hubabrd glacier, Ketchikan and Victoria, B.C.

Was a great trip and hopefully I'd like to go back there some day.

Now what they really need is a good BBQ place :)

Looks like it was a great trip Ron. Nice pics too-that eagle on the rock would make a great poster-heck all your photos would make great posters! Glad that you're back!!

That's really neat Ron. Thanks for the photos. I can only imagine the smile it put on your face to be in this part of the country. WOW.
