adding chips or sawdust to a pellet maze

I just emptied a 30 gallon can off my dust collector . I did save a gallon bag of cherry I ran awhile back . Came from the planer . Might be to fine .

Just talked to the A maze n guys, they are down because they got hacked, he told me that table or miter saw gives the good size dust up. I've tried it from my planer before but it's too shavey? I think.

I've never actually tried it . I have the tube smoker so a bit bigger is what I need .
I only saved that cherry because it was pre glue up saved to a clean shop vac .
The stuff I just emptied was oak , cherry , maple and Titebond 2 lol .
