According to an email from my brother, he had a really good night. No vomitting, but still dizzy. It seems that the pain in his legs has either gone away or is much less of a factor than it was previously. Doctors are actually beginning to talk of possible discharge if he continues to improve.

I have to say, this is a complete turnaround from yesterday. I am not counting anything out yet, but it seems that he has turned a positive corner.

It stinks when the little ones are in the hospital. Kinda wen't through the stomach thing myself just before Thanksgiving. Four days in the hospital with abdominal pains that put me flat on the floor. Found out it was a stomach infection, absolutley no idea how or why.

Hope the little guy whips it soon!

Spoke to my mom today and found out that he was discharged from the hospital late Saturday!!!!!!!

He is home and in good spirits. The doctors told him to take it easy for a couple of days. He was wrestling with his younger brother by this afternoon!!!

The doctors at Children's Mercy can't explain the turn around, they just credit the antibiotics and his body's natural ability to fight infection. But I know good and well what caused this. The power of positve thought and prayer is amazing and I owe each of you so much more than a simple "Thank you!". I have no doubt that your thoughts and prayers made a difference.

Thanks everyone, I owe you big time! Next time I smoke a butt you are all invited!
