1. I just read a post by Roller showing his Qview of a smoke he did for his X and her church group.

2. I just completed my first BBB, and received a lot of advice and encouragement from our smoking community.

My point? I'm pondering an age old question and debate my wife and I have about campers and I now have about smokers:

Is it smoking (and eating) good food that brings out the nice in people, or do only nice people smoke (and hang out on the SMF)?

Other similar age-old questions:

-- How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?
-- Are all fisherman liars, or do only liars fish?
-- Why did the chicken cross the road? (My wife and daughter firmly believe that chicken was trying to get away from the smoker!)
-- Ginger, or Mary Ann?
-- Genie, or Samantha?

Seems like we have a unique site here. Everyone is so friendly & you get the feeling of belonging to a big family.

will have time to help .i love it here, even i am in Africa

Well,  what about those of us who are campers and smokers? I guess that makes us doubly nice!

Great post James!!!

Like you, many of us get enjoyment from helping others & posting nice comments on others' threads.

Sure we enjoy getting the same in return, but it's kinda like Christmas---More fun to give than to receive.

I resent that crack about all fishermen being liars!

Now, let me tell you about the 412 pound tarpon I got last Thursday ...

I think it is our common bond that allows us to set aside things that could otherwise be troublesome differences.  Having said that, it is Mary Ann and Genie, and I don't care what anybody else says.

Good luck and good smoking.

Now CaptTurbo -- I'm thinking we need the same rules about fishing tales as we do about smoking tales: NO PIX = IT NEVER HAPPENED!!!!

Wait a minute!!!

We fisherman might tend to stretch our stories, so we need "Fview" for proof???

OK, Here's that Pickerel I caught when I was in the Army.

Boat was a bit crowded:

Other similar age-old questions:

-- How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? Not many I bite them to get inside.
-- Are all fisherman liars, or do only liars fish? I don't fish anymore.
-- Why did the chicken cross the road? (My wife and daughter firmly believe that chicken was trying to get away from the smoker!) He was invited to a Bar-B-Que.
-- Ginger, or Mary Ann? Ginger
-- Genie, or Samantha? Genie.

See that was easy.

Great! I get crap for not having a picture but Bear is golden cause he has a PIC? Fine. Fact is that I use bait about the size of Bear's prize there.

Oh and if I'm stuck on an Island with only two pretty girls? The answer is Ginger AND Mary Ann. Now Genie and Samantha were both beauties. The nod from me has to go to Genie. Barbara Eden is still with us and still looks pretty good even though she is way up there in years.

OMG, that is absolutely hilarious!  "F-view!"  However, I think we need a notarized affidavit from Mrs. Bear on this one.  Might be more than the fish that is fishy there!

CaptTurbo, I'm still reading a lot of smack without anything to back it up!!!!

This thread went about the way I expected -- a lot of great comments, etc.  Thanks for humoring me everybody!

Hmmm, Well then your boat must be bigger than mine, because I had a heck of a time getting this one in my boat !!!

It was brand new in that pic. Trophy Pro with twin 150 Mercs. He never brings it home any more. It gets stored 17' in the air now, by the dock. He calls them when he leaves to go fishing, and they take it down, and put it in the water, ready for him when he gets there. Kid has it rough!!!

I used to have to throw my 12' aluminum in my truck & go.

I'll get even with him---He has to make me Dinner this Sunday!!!!

When you've had as much "windshield time" as I have, you KNOW the answer to this one:

The chicken crossed the road to show the possums and the 'coons IT CAN BE DONE!!!
