Does anyone one know how to use the Amaze in a mes. Tied putting it under the water pan  will not fit. Really do not want to use the smoker without the water pan. I still would like to use the wood box. any suggestion would be appreciated

Set it on the rails to the left of the chip pan. That is about as close as you can get it to fresh air intake so it will smolder well for you.

The guys got you covered

Place it on the rails, between the chip pan housing and the left inside wall

Pull out the chip about 1 1/2"

Pull out the chip loader about 2"

Open the exhaust 100%

Don't use water in the water pan.  If you think you need extra moisture use a small loaf pan
