A guy used his grill as a weapon

I can't even imagine what it is like to have an obnoxious neighbor.
Agreed! But ive had some douchy neighbors before and now. Lady behind us had a dog she would leave outside to bark 8 hours a day while she worked inside. I tried to be decent and text her to please fix the issue and she wouldnt. It took me and two other neighbors to file complaints before the sheriff would go over and tell her net time its $1000 fine. Some folks are just sh*tty people.

This summer, I received a condo-wide notice about not letting outdoor smoke bother the neighbors (as windows were open in the summer.) I asked my next-door neighbor if he had seen the notice, and I wondered if they were talking about me? He said, "Oh, no. That was me. The guy below me likes to smoke cheap cigars on his deck. YOU can smoke meat anytime you want!" I have given his family some in the past. It pays to be good neighbors.

So, let me get this straight. The thin blue smoke from the smoker is offensive, the charcoal grill smoke is offensive and the smell of steak cooking on the gas grill is offensive. Except, these same tree huggers are ok with the entire neighborhood sitting around and smoking their marijuana day and night for the young kids to smell. The things that make you say "Hmmm"

In areas where pot is now legal, like my state, try having to sit near one of them on the bus or train, or in a crowded elevator. Makes me want to gag. :emoji_grimacing:

There is some context missing here but I can only assume this is in a neighborhood where the houses are close together. It also seems the problem was initially an open fire. The guy was inconsiderate of his neighbors and when they complained, he doubled down. There are some neighbors who are just inconsiderate and sometimes downright obnoxious, and others who will complain about minor stuff. Neighborhood Wars is a good show to watch to make you feel much better about YOUR neighbor situation!

I live in a 10 acre plus property neighborhood with no association or rules other than any house built has to be a minimum size and actually have a foundation. But, I do feel bad about my wood stove sometimes. I'm down the slope across the street from a neighbor so my chimney is not much higher than the road and the houses across the street are at road level. When the wind blows SW it takes my wood smoke right to their front porch. I guess it makes up for the stupid barking dog they have. But I dont have to breathe the dog!
