Just like to say a big Hello to everyone on the forum.  Me and my Business Partner have a mobile smokehouse bbq company called the Flame Pit, we specialise in Pork and Beef but we are always expanding our menu.

We have a 17foot trailer that is a reverse flow smoker and a large grill, we have been doing it for around 1 year as a business and it could not be more fun.  We are getting a good following and a lot of bookings just came of a chilli festival last weekend and have a 2 day cook at the 12 times winner of the Northumberland pub of the year this weekend.

So lets get this started, what is your ideal smoked sandwich and side to go with it on in the bun.

Wow, favorite sandwich? That's a tough one but I love grilled pastrami with swiss on a sourdough pannini!

Now that sounds like a good sandwich, we really struggle in the UK for top end meat.  We have good meat i gust think there is a lot more way to cook them then we do.  USA corned Beef is one of the beast meats in the world, in the UK it come in a tin :-(

but that is why the Flame Pit came about, good food for the people.

Hello Chris and

My favorite sammie is smoked TriTip on a home made sourdough roll topped with smoked provolone  with smoked au jus dipping sauce

I like to smoke a whole log of balogna scored lightly smoked for a couple hours.

slice yourself a nice thick piece, served on texas toast with a big slice of sweet onion and pickle.

simple and good

oh yea, welcome to the forum...

US corned beef is easy to make Chris...

Welcome to the forums, pastrami on rye with Russian dressing or any thinly sliced roasted beef loaded with horseradish sauce on white bread
