I’ve been keeping an eye out for when these come out to check the price. Pretty cool but I don’t think I could fork out the cash for the difference

the yellow reminds me of "harvest gold" kitchen appliances of the 70's...
Not for me. I don't like the ash catcher. I prefer the disc that's on the basic kettle.

I fully understand that, and I'm glad that's not an issue in the North East. I'm currently gathering up all our scrap wood, downed branches and other miscellaneous combustibles for our bi-annual bonfire. The ash catcher on these new ones is what attracted me.
The enclosed ash catcher is a huge plus for those of us out west where one teeny- tiny spark can cause a wild fire.

I bet my wife couldn't even tell ya what color my Webers are. She only cares about what comes off them.Yep, that is for sure. When I picked my new kettle back in December, I made sure it was the premium model with the enclosed ash catcher.
Plus, the copper color matches the gasser, which was one of stipulations laid down down by Mrs. SHS.
