Is how long it took me to move my man fridge from my shop to my house! Now I have easy access for curing and other projects.

Of course I promptly filled it up with bottles of liquid gold. My wife thought her white wine
Should go in there too. Hmph! Gonna have to do some drinking to make room for meat!

Found several hunks of smoked cheese that have been aging in there for 6+ years. Can't wait to crack into those.

I need another fridge,we went counter depth side by side after kitchen remodel. If you never had side by side counter depth you don't realize how worthless they are. let's see that six year old cheese!!

We have been downsizing lately.

I sold a chest freezer & a beer fridge.

So I'm down to two full sized refrigerators.

Hoping to get down to just one!

I took out a wall in my house so I could put one great big fridge in there.

At least that's the plan.

Good call! My beer fridge in the garage has been taken over my the Mrs. ever since we started making our own dog food. I have another fridge out in the shop that has become the curing fridge but its another 30 yards from the house. I'm thinking it has to move closer... perhaps even the house. Good idea!

My shop is 6 miles round trip from my house! Wife informed me she wants to use the btm freezer for ice cream...

We recently went from a college fridge to a full size in the garage. i thought we will never fill it all up (we have a deep freezer too) yea we could use a third one now too! cant have too many and then you have too many!

Happy Smoking,

I've got 3 fridges and a chest freezer. I have one kitchen fridge and mentioned I needed a beer fridge out back on the deck so my daughter got me a mini fridge about 6 years back which turned out to be to small...so when my sister got a new kitchen fridge the same summer, I got the old one for beer. So the full size 2nd fridge is supposed to be for beer and BBQ and grilling condiments and the mini fridge is reserved for curing or dry aging...HOWEVER...
I've got a 17 pound brisket, two 10 pound butts, two packages of chicken thighs, three racks of baby backs and 10 pounds of frozen wings in both fridges out back for next weekend's annual BBQ at the lake and two cases of warm beer and a kitchen fridge full of rubs and sauces...lol...

Besides the "house" fridge, I have a full size upright freezer and a mini fridge in the garage plus a wine cooler in a bedroom for cheese. I still have to take "projects" to the warehouse fridge at work.
This hobby sure needs a lot of cooling....

Case,

You're gonna have to consume some of those beers to make room for curing!!!

Best way I have found to keep Mrs toolsteel v2.0 out of my beer frig....I store my night crawlers. Leeches and cut bait for catfish in in there ....lol....she won't go near it and doesn't want her items "associating" with my fishing bait.

I do them same thing and it works perfectly except with mom who grew up with bait being stored in the fridge...one crisper drawer was always reserved for worms and leeches..
Most of the other gals always go eeeww when they see them in the beer fridge and resist putting anything in it.

Walt.

A refrigerator (or freezer) is like a vacuum. If it is there, it will be filled up. It's a law of nature.
