Great day to be an AMERICAN !!!!

Start them over the hot coals turning often untill the bacon starts to crisp and the set off of the hot side of the grill until every thing is done.I also hit them with some of my bbq sauce while chilling on the cool side. They were delicious.

question though, how do you grille a hot dog wrapped in raw bacon & have the bacon done without the hotdog being burned ?
I would think very slow and carefully... LoL

Does look goooood and i think i was at home as the g.kids are picky also not young as you little one looked but I don't like this and that.

Good you made it both ways...

Good smoke/grill !!!

Everything looks great, and I'm sure that you guys had a good time!

I make bacon dogs like that all of the time, and they are yummy.  I got hooked on them in L.A. where the street vendors sell them on just about every corner.

Now I have seen hot dogs wrqpped in bacon and I also wish that I would remember that when I'm making hotdogs. Now it sure looks like you and yours had a good meal on the 4th.
