Alright so I have a 300 gallon fuel tank in the works of becoming a cooker. I have gotten this far does anyone have any suggestions? The lid has bowed a bit give me some ideas boys

Add some metal under the lid then some good latches, the lid will stay in place after a few hot runs and you can add gasket if needed, the 1 I am building I layed down, I cut center to center for the door.
 
Tack 1 inch flat around the lid and beat into shape if it doesn't bend heat specific areas with torch and shape don't get a large area to hot or it'll warp again. When cutting a door allow to cool in between cuts.
 
Weld a bar inside the door force the lid back into place yhen weld it in place ..should stay like that forever ...
