30" MES Replacement Element

Posting this for someone else.  I did a search and didn't see an answer.  Where can I find a replacement element for the 30" MES?  I think it has a 650 watt element and we know for sure the element is bad and it's not the wiring or the controller.  Masterbuilt said they no longer sold these elements and had no advice on where to find one.  Anybody have any ideas?

I would see if I could find some posts on here to find out if the 650 and 800 watt mount the same way, if so look in the MES model numbers thread get a 800 watt model number and call them back.

Call masterbuilt and tell them you have a newer 40''(one with a heating element access door on the back) and need a replacement heating element. You may have to get the part number for the 40''. This will be a 1200 watt element not a 650 or 800 Watt element. I had to do this when i did this mod http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/a/masterbuilt-electric-smokehouse-heating-element-upgrade-how-to. If you tell them you have an older 30'' or 40'' with out the door they will not sell you one (liability reasons).
