Featured 3 overnight butts....

I caught the .99 per lb butt sale at W/D a couple of weeks ago . I am out of bags of p/p in the freezer, so time to remedy that !
Different rubs on each. 1- gospel 2- Holy voodoo 3- cherry rub
Went on the RT 1400xl at around 8 last night.
Around 2 hrs in.....

This morning around 8....

That looks great. I just finished doing a jerked version that has now been portioned out, vacced and frozen. They are perfect for quick tacos or baked potatoes when I don't have time to cook. And it's pretty much the last cheap cut of meat that hasn't been gentrified into the stratosphere (unlike skirt steak, oxtail, marrow bones and similar cuts that used to be cheap).

Your Those butts look great. I could not even guess how many butts I've smoked over the years, and have only scored 5 or 6. I might have to explore that method. I'm guessing it's primary function is seasoning delivery?
