So this was kind of a random cook but I had time so just went with it. Our local Meijer had rib roasts on sale for $7.99 a lb so I got a couple and cut them up into steaks saving the ribs to cook for a later day (yesterday) they also had hams on sale for .69 cents I believe it was so I picked up 2 as well. Figured around $8 for a ham you can’t beat. Well yesterday I had the time so I figured I’d cook them together keeping it simple. The ham I just dusted with some of my version of Jeff’s rub and the ribs from the prime rib were just SPOG. I’ve never cooked beef ribs or whatever these are considered but they turned out really good with good color. Shortly after I got them on we ran to Costco for a couple of things and they had the big packs of their party wings on sale for $5 off. I snagged one of the big packs up and once we got back I threw them into some of the rub from the ham and tossed them on too. Everything was smoked in the 22” kettle using apple chunks and the snake method and turned out great, the ham was a little Smokey but not too overpowering. They will be great for omelets. The wings made a good snack when everything was finishing up. Will be dropping some of it off to the parents later today. Thanks for looking.
