It was pretty good. I used a rub from a friend in Texas and it's commercially available but I had never used it. Chupacabra Rub. Toward the end I mixed up some of my sauce, a little apple butter and grand Marnier orange liqueur. Smoked over hickory and Apple wood.
It tastes like it looks. I vacuum sealed 3 packages for the freezer and held out some for tomorrow night. I baked a flan cake tonight but thats for give away. I give a lot of food away. Builds my business. Happy mouths tell good tales.
