I’m gathering up all the parts and pieces for a UDS build. I have acquired a lid from a Weber kettle and would like to have another daisy wheel exhaust. The lid I have came from a master touch so it has the hole for the lid thermometer.

Can I use that hole to bolt the exhaust wheel on and drill the holes in The proper place around it? Or do I need to seal those holes off and use new ones?

I would go with the temp. gauge hole and place your vent. The vents would be opposite end of the lid correct? Pictures would help. I’m a visual person.

I'm with Justin, put the new vent opposite of the factory vent.
