I am getting the hang of this GOSM, it is easy after learning my way on the leaky charcoal offset I started with. I think the GOSM gasser is easier to use than the WSM I borrowed, and turns food that is just as good imho.
I just made sure to give myself plenty of time, since if it gets done early wrapping it in foil, and a towel, and throwing it in a cooler is only going to help it. Getting up @ 3:30 a.m. on a Sunday sucked, but that was forgotten when I started pulling the pork, and saw how it turned out.
the kool-aid in the rub will be used this weekend on some ribs..spares or bb's whichever are on sale.. Not overpowering at all, just a nice twist, that I am glad I read about on SMF.
jalapeno hot dog...? sounds alot better than the pretzles I have for my lunch.
I still have my weber kettle, and an offset chargriller in the garage(which I may sell at an upcoming grarage sale if the price is right). & If I come into any extra $$$ I will get a WSM.
