Sorry for delay in updates, been a little busy. I've used this 3 times now & each time it just gets better and better! I can't stress how happy I am with it. It holds temp fairly well & really just does a great job. I've made chicken & ribs so far in it & both turned out just fantastic. I spatched 3, 8lbs birds & they came out so juicy & with just the right amount of smoke. The wife was thrilled with them. Now, I've made baby backs twice. I have to say, I've tried making ribs in the past & haven't had much success. Dunno why, just not what I expected. This time around, I didn't use any variation of a 2-2-1, just straight smoke for 4-5hrs, spritzing w/ apple cider every hour & mopping twice during the last 1/2 hr. They were AWESOME! I've never had juicier, more tender ribs ANYWHERE. Sure, I've had them where they fall apart, but these were tender but firm yet pulled clean from the bone when you bit them. Not all the meat, just what you bit. Again, the wife was thrilled. She wouldn't even let me take some to the guys at work, lol. Sorry I don't have any Q-view, I will definitely get some this weekend for you. I'm cooking for my son's soccer team, so they'll be a lot! Chicken legs & baby backs.....mmmmmmmmm!

Kobornigan,,

How does it ride going down the road? Looks extremly top heavy for the width of the trailer. Any concerns on the tounge of the trailer? how much tounge weight do you have. I am wondering if it might be wise for some side bracing on the tounge for saftey..

Rides great Terry, no shimmy at all. Even on some rough spots. Tongue weight is minimal, maybe 30-50lbs, she's pretty balanced. The tank's not as heavy as it looks, but the extra steel inside does add some heft. The trailer is almost as wide as the tank is, so I don't think it's an issue. Never the less, I take the corners slower than usua, lol. I don't plan on any long trips with it, but the extra bracing may be something I look into down the road (no pun intended, lol).

Just curious-I have had the opportunity to obtain 275 fuel oil tanks when people change out their heating system. I have not done so yet because I am not sure how to "clan" them out so I can smoke in them. What do you recommend?

If you weld the proper size pipe thearlet in the door , Bass pro shop sells a nice guage , and all you do is thread it in the threadlet you welded in the door and you have a nice 4in guage that you can replace if you need to very easy.
