I never understood competitive eating... it can't be fun... it's unhealthy and will probably make you puke. Or die. I like to enjoy my food, not see how much more of it I can eat. Why put yourself through that?

OMG that's a lot of GRITS!!! Being from "up north" I grew up with oatmeal. Hated grits when I was in the Corps, but got out and stayed in NC for a while. Loved grits with red-eye gravy, or on Sunday mornings I would go for a run then come home and make me up some good ole cheese grits. Can't get good grits up here, not worth the money, I think all we can get are Quaker. Grits is good.
