As an Inkbird user, I Thank You for being a sponsor to SMF.
My Inkbird runs my electric smoker for cold smoking (sub 100°), and up to 210° .
When the heating mode stops, I use the cooling mode to run a small fan to cool my smoke transfer tubing.
Giving me unattended overnight cold smoking. I wake to my batch done and ready to package.
Thanks!

PS: You need to polish your English. Just sayin....

Fish On!
Let's see how fast you are. Order placed.

I've got no complaints with my inkbird controller a-la sous vide. I've dished out plenty of punishment to it beyond what amp it was rated for and still keeps on ticking. (shh... don't tell the OP!) Thank you for being a new SMF sponsor!

Wish this was good for more than just therms. Or is it?

I too am a Inkbird user having ITC-308 and IHC-200 controllers on the curing chamber, ITC-308 controller on my beer/garage fridge and if you extend the 20% off coupon code to ITC/IBT controllers I'll have another for the house refrigerator.

Controllers are VERY reasonably priced, easy to program/use, are plug-n-play and spot on accurate.

Thank you for producing great affordable products!

Ordered on the 9th, delivered on the 13th. But two of those days were weekend days. ;)
It took me a few tries, but finally got my phone to bluetooth with it. I found that having the unit, and probes ready (on), then using the button in the app connected it immediately. I was looking for it to appear in my phones Bluetooth menu.
Can't hardly wait to do some actual cooking with it.
But I like all the features I've found so far. Besides the extensive menu of types of meats, it has 3 smoking/BBQing presets. Cold Smoking, Warm Smoking, and Hot Smoking.
The cold smoking is going to be used as soon as my bacon is ready to cold smoke.

Inkbird IBT-4XS currently on amazon lightning deal. the 20% code works on top of the lightning deal. came out to $33 for me with free next day delivery.

a number of reviews on amazon complain about inaccurate temps, but the company seems proactive in addressing them. that helped sway me in purchasing it and giving it a try.

kinda strange, they have 3 separate product pages for the same product ITC-308, and it looks like each are meant for a specific purpose, e.g. Greenhouse, Fermentation, and Thermostat. only the "Thermostat" product page has a 5% coupon on it.

it looks like it's all the same product. i was thinking of picking one up to control an electric heater to heat up my office.

edit: turns out a space heater pulls more watts than the ITC-308 is capable of, 1500w versus 1100w.

On Amazon I saw saw the ITC-308 at 1100 watts and a recommendation to compare to the same model with 1200 watts. Now I'm confused. I always keep up incase a need arises but I want descriptions, dialogue semantics, reading material to be clear as crystal first and I wish it was better.

Is the only difference between the 4XS and the Inkbird IBT-4XP that the XP is waterproof? Im leaning toward spending the Extra $10 to have it waterproof.

also, the XP looks like it has 3 meat probes, while the XS has 4 meat probes. the probe design looks different too, but i think it's just black probe tip covers on the XP while the XS doesn't have them.

Most inaccurate temps reason is customer didn't fully inserted the probes into the ports. Need strongly push the probes in. Because some customers complain that probes easy to loose before, then we changed tight version. The temperature will display 572F if the probes didn't insert well.

The maximum wattage of ITC-308 is 1100W, 10A, 110V.

Thanks for providing US and Canadian members with the discount code. Do you have one that is applicable for Europe/UK too?
Thanks, Wade
Which product you want?

I would like to get an extra meat probe so I could use all four positions for meat.
I already have another thermometer I can use for grate temp.

Is it possible to buy just a probe?
