2 more chuck roasts this time from Sam’s club

So work want shredded beef for office staff pot luck.
I normally get Costco prime chuck roast but went with 2 select chuck roasts from Sam’s club 3.00 per lb cheaper.
Put one on for me as a dry run.

So put the other one on at midnight put in pan at 165 about 7:30. Pulled at 208 at about 10:00 Wrapped in ice chest to rest. Shredded at noon for lunch.

Yeah they really liked it only they were upset I forgot to do a couple cream cheese blocks for them.

Yeah I was curious to see how they’d be they were great to be honest couldn’t really tell the difference I was just selective in the package that I bought also. I’ll be getting more from Sam’s

I hear ya at 8.50 a pound at Costco it was getting kind of pricey to run them this is a little bit more manageable at 5.48 a pound at Sam’s Club and they just went up they were 4.98

Yeah seems like I hardly ever find meat on sale or I just miss out on the sales.
The office staff try to do a potluck once a month. Helps to build morale, all the guys in the field couldn’t do what they do without the office staff support they don’t always realize it but I do.
